Sensei Raclo

Sensei Ravi was born in Bangalore on 18-03-1965 and he was educated in Bangalore. After he finished his school life with good aptitude; he was seeking for a suitable job. It was then he came to the secret of Martial Art. He immediately applied himself to martial arts, and in three years he got his brown belt in shotokan karate. He came across Kyokushin Karate, which was quite different in terms of the kicks, stances and blocks. He joined a dojo at indiranagar and he continued his journey in martial arts here, eventually reaching black belt 3rd dan.

Stepping Stones

On October 18th 1994, was the beginning of kyokushin centre at the young men association, under the instructorship of sensei Ravi Carvalho, known as Sensei Raclo among the bangaloreans. An inaugural ceremony was organized to mark the association, in which most of the senior students took part internally, hardly 4-5 students under him, Sensei Ravi Carvalho started off with the full determination to develop the dojo. Though a hard challenge it was never impossible to sensei raclo. Up’s and downs were faced yet no stone was never left unturned in his venture. The air remained the same and none could change it.

The Blood and Sweat never went to a Waste

Later though slowly, his pain bore fruits now Sensei Raclo has developed more than 5,000 students under him, many tournaments and Grading were conducted, in which many students took part and were promoted to their respective next grades. For spreading this art of truth in this Garden city Bangalore, if God be, there is nothing to fear of and nothing to be stopped by.
