The Competitions shall be held in compliance with the Timing Schedule
of the Kyokushin, aiming the following purposes:
- Promotion
and development of Kyokushin Karate-do in the SARC;
- Involving
of children and young people into sports activities and healthy way of
life;
- Formation
of high moral and physical qualities, comprehensive development of
personality;
- Strengthening
of friendly ties between the athletes of different countries;
- The
athletes' mastership level upgrading and revelation of the strongest
fighters.

- Competitions
Arrangement.
Immediate arrangement procedures of the Competitions holding shall be
entrusted to the Organizing Committee of the 'Kyokushin Bangalore'.

official representative (Head of the Delegation);
- fighters.
- Competitions
Regulations.
Competitions in KUMITE in compliance with the IKO Rules,
weight category:
- up
to 70 kg (Light weight category)
- more
than 70 kg (Heavy weight category)
- Admission
Terms.
To be admitted to the Competitions, the pretenders' qualification may
not be lower than 9 ku, the Physical Culture Medical Dispensary
examination certificate obligatory.
On the weighting procedure the Team representative shall present:
- Entry
Form (KUMITE);
- Team
Application certified by official representative;
- Copy
of passport;
- Each
Participant should have a clean dogi with a sash, corresponding to the
rank.
All the Participants of the Competitions in
kumite shall be equipped with the means of individual protection
stipulated by the Competitions Rules.
In case of transgression of any of the above Clauses the athlete
shall not be admitted to the Competitions. In case of failure to show up
on tatami within 30 seconds after the athlete's name announcement the
above shall be declared lost.

10:00 - registration and weighing of the Participants;
11:00 - Referees' Seminar.
November 17, 2007:
12:00 - start of preliminary fights.
November 17, 2007:
11:00 - ceremonial opening of the Tournament, Participants' Parade,
tamishevari, semi-final and final fights.

8. The
original of the Application form shall be presented - jointly with the
Documents certifying the information exposed in the Application - by the
official Representative of the Team, to the Mandate Commission on
November 16, 2007.
Applications shall be presented only in a printed version and be
certified by the signature and seal of the Head of the Team, signature
and seal of the Physical Culture medical Dispensary Doctor, certifying
the admission for each athlete. Number of Participants been admitted
shall be written by hand and certified with a seal and signature of the
Physical Culture Medical Dispensary Doctor

10. Inopportunely
presented or wrongly executed Applications shall not be considered.
- Winners'
defining and Awarding Ceremony.
The Kumite Competitions shall be held on base of the
play-off system (when the athlete is out after loss)
Fights duration:

Preliminary:

3 min + 2 min + weighting + 2 min;

Semi-final, final:
|
3 min + 2 min + 2 min + weighting + tamishewari +
2 min. - in weighting shall be taken into account the weigh
difference higher than 3 kg.
|
- The
tamishewari Competitions will be held before the final and semi-final
fights. The fighters shall make 4 exercises: seiken (fist punch),
empi (elbow hit) shuto (palm verge blow), sokuto (heel kick). 2 boards
minimum.
Starting from the semi-final and final fights, in case of the draw after
weighting, the winner shall be determined by the tamishevari
results; if not in this case the winner is determined, the 2 minutes
overtime is to be set.
